Hispi Cabbage with Whipped Miso Butter

Buttery, creamy, and deeply umami. Caramelised cabbage with a silky miso butter.

Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 hispi (sweetheart) cabbage, halved or quartered
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2–3 tbsp TOSS Miso Magic
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Brush cabbage with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place cut-side down on a baking tray and roast for 15–20 minutes until tender and caramelised.
  4. Meanwhile, blitz or whisk softened butter with Miso Magic until light, smooth, and whipped.
  5. Once the cabbage is golden and crisp, add a spoon of the whipped butter directly onto it and let it melt.
  6. Place the cabbage on serving plate and drizzle over your remaining miso butter.
