Miso Salted Cookies (Easter Special)

Sweet, salty, chewy cookies with a hint of miso magic.
Serves: 12–14 cookies
Time: 25–30 minutes
Ingredients
- 150g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2–3 tbsp Miso Magic
- 100g chocolate chips (optional)
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment.
- Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, and Miso Magic until a soft dough forms.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Scoop dough onto the tray, spacing cookies about 5cm apart.
- Sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are golden but centres still soft.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
