Sweet Tahini Chick Pasta

Creamy, nutty, and sweet – pasta topped with crunchy, golden chickpeas for the ultimate comfort bowl.

Serves: 2–3
Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 jar chickpeas drained & dried
  • 200g pasta
  • 3–4 tbsp Sweet Tahini
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (+ a pinch for the sauce)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Fresh basil 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Dry chickpeas thoroughly, then toss with Sweet Tahini, chilli flakes, salt, and pepper. Bake 12–15 minutes until crispy and golden.
  3. Cook pasta until al dente.
  4. Warm a little Sweet Tahini in a pan with a pinch of chilli flakes.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta through the tahini sauce, adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
  6. Bowl up the pasta and top with crispy chickpeas. Finish with fresh basil.
