Tahini and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Nutty, chewy, and studded with chocolate – tahini takes these cookies to the next level.
Serves: 12 cookies
Time: 25–30 minutes
Ingredients
- 125g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g brown sugar
- 50g caster sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2–3 tbsp Sweet Tahini Chick
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 175g plain flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 150g chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment.
- Cream the butter with sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, Sweet Tahini Chick, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture.
- Stir through the chocolate chips.
- Scoop cookie dough onto the tray (roughly golf-ball sized) and flatten slightly.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until golden at the edges but still soft in the middle.
- Cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
